CALABRIA, Tarentum. Circa 240-228 BC. Silver Nomos (6.58 gm; 19 mm). Olympis, magistrate. Warrior on horseback to right, brandishing spear in right hand and holding reins with left; wreath behind, OΛYMΠIΣ below / Taras astride dolphin to left, holding kantharos and cornucopiae; tripod to right, TAPAΣ below. Vlasto 942; HN Italy 1055. Well struck on a nice full flan. Choice AU. Lustrous. Lightly toned.
