Description
SASANIAN KINGS. Shapur II, 309-379 AD. Æ (4.34 gm; 20 mm). Obverse, Shapur's bust turning right with standard crown within two ring instead of typical one, reverse, fire altar with attendants also within 2 rings instead of one. Well struck on a nice broad flan. Choice VF. Nice original find patina. Extremely rare.
