Ottoman or Egyptian Pashas period:, written in “Naskh” calligraphic style, phrase in Arabic: “Al-Reyahat-o Allah, Awosa(t)” meaning “ Moderation is to feel or to be close to God”. The first part of legend is written in Ottoman toghra style. Date 1312 (1894-1895 AD). Date coincides with the reign of Ottoman Sultan Abdul Hamid II (1876-1909 AD). Crescent and Star , the symbol of Islamic faith is also present on the lower left corner. Excellent condition.
