CONSTANTINE VII PORPHYROGENITUS with ROMANUS II (913-959). Fourrée Solidus. Imitating Constantinople.
Obv: Facing bust of Christ Pantokrator; three pellets at edge of each arm of nimbus cross.
Rev: Facing busts of Basil and Constantine and Romanus, holding patriarchal cross between them.
Cf. Sear 1751 (for prototype).
Condition: Very fine.
Weight: 2.33 g.
Diameter: 20 mm.
