Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, wreath above head of ram right.

Though highly unusual for the coinage of Alexander, this ram symbol is fairly regular for that of Lysimachos from Alexandreia Troas. Similarly, the obverse style closely matches that of other issues from the Black Sea region, so an attribution to this area is most appropriate. Very rare.
