EASTERN EUROPE. Imitations of Roman Republic. Denarius (Circa 1st century BC). Imitating C. Thalna.
Obv: Stylized helmeted head of Roma right; X (mark of value) to left.
Rev: ROMA.
Stylized Victory, holding reins and whip, driving biga right; C TAL below.
Cf. Crawford 202/1a (for prototype).
Condition: Extremely fine.
Weight: 3.82 g.
Diameter: 18 mm.
