THRACE. Thasos. Tetradrachm (Circa 148-90/80 BC).
Obv: Head of Dionysos right, wearing ivy wreath.
Rev: HPAKΛEOYΣ / ΣΩTHPOΣ / ΘAΣIΩN.
Herakles standing left, holding club and lion skin. Control: Monogram to inner left.
SNG Copenhagen 1040-5; HGC 6, 359.
Condition: Good very fine, test cut on the reverse.
Weight: 16.74 g.
Diameter: 31 mm.
