KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Magnesia pros Maiandros.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Torch in left field, monogram below throne.

Price 1955; HGC 3.1, 944f (Alexander IV).

Condition: Extremely fine.

Weight: 4.26 g.
Diameter: 17 mm.
