SELEUKID KINGDOM. Seleukos I Nikator (312-281 BC). Tetradrachm. Ekbatana. In the name and types Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: In left field, two monograms above horizontal anchor above forepart of horse grazing left; below throne, ΣΩ below strut.

Condition: Good very fine.
