CILICIA. Tarsos. Mazaios (Satrap of Cilicia, 361/0-334 BC). Stater.

Obv: Baal seated left on throne, holding sceptre; thymiaterion with bird to left, Aramaic legend to right; sling below throne.
Rev: Lion advancing left; star above, Aramaic legend to upper right, crescent below.

Cf. SNG BN 433 (Myriandros), (obverse type, sling below throne and aramaic legend next to the thymiaterion); cf. SNG Levante 185 (Myriandros) (same).

Condition: Good very fine.

Weight: 10.70 g.
Diameter: 21 mm.
