SELEUKID KINGDOM. Seleukos I Nikator (312-281 BC). Tetradrachm. Carrhae.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: ΣEΛEYKOY / BAΣIΛEΩΣ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: monogram and labrys in left field, monogram below throne.

SC 42.3b var. (monogram below throne slightly different); HGC 9, 12a.

Condition: Very fine.

Weight: 17.09 g.
Diameter: 26 mm.
