SELEUKID KINGDOM. Seleukos I Nikator (312-281 BC). Tetradrachm. Uncertain mint 6A in Babylonia. In the name and types Alexander III 'the Great' of Macedon.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛEΞANΔPOY / ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: anchor in left field, monogram below throne.

SC 67.1; Price 3434; HGC 9, 10d.

Condition: Very fine.
