KINGS OF MACEDON. Alexander III 'the Great' (336-323 BC). Drachm. Kolophon.

Obv: Head of Herakles right, wearing lion skin.
Rev: AΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ.
Zeus seated left on throne, holding eagle and sceptre. Controls: Grain ear (or tunny upward) in left field, spearhead to outer right.

Price 1752 (or 1762 [tunny]); HGC 3.1, 944c (Alexander IV).

Condition: Good very fine.

Weight: 4.21 g.
Diameter: 17 mm.
