Obv: + IhSЧS KRI SτЧS nIKA * Cross crowned bust of John facing, wearing short beard and loros, within medallion with four crosses in orthogonal axes, the lower one set on two steps, Iω ΑΝ vertical flanking John's portrait, all within double dotted and pearl circle.
Rev: Legend in five lines: + Iω ΑΝΝ Єn Xω ΑVτω CRAτ ЄVSЄb bASILЄVS RωΜΑΙω four dots set in cross shape between two lines to upper and lower, all within double dotted and pearl circle.
