Description

Phrygia, Hierapolis AE (Bronze, 6.66g, 20mm) Pseudo-autonomous, 3rd century.
Obv: ΖΕΥϹ ΒΩΖΙΟΣ. Head of Zeus Bosios, right.
Rev: ΙΕΡΑΠΟΛΕΙΤΩΝ. Apollo on horseback, right, carrying double axe over shoulder.
