Kings of Macedon, Alexander III "the Great". (336-323 BC) AR Drachm (Silver, 3.95g, 19mm)
Obv.: Head of Herakles to right, wearing lion skin headdress.
Rev.: ΑΛΕΞΑΝΔΡΟΥ, Zeus Aëtophoros seated left on backless throne, right leg drawn back, feet suspended, eagle in outstretched right hand, grounded scepter in left; monogram in left field, bee below throne.
