Rectangular Dedicatory Plaquette or Token with a bucolic scene of a shepherd grazing geese (Bronze, 3.62g, 25mm) Roman period.

- The gooseherd: A boy and a girl herding two geese are depicted in this mosaic. Great Palace Mosaic Museum, Istanbul, Turkey. Period: Early Byzantine, circa 6th. century CE. Place: Constantinople, (Modern Istanbul, Turkey).

- Bucolic elements: cupids, seasons, animals, flowers, shepherds, landscapes. Bucolic themes symbolized for Christians, as for their pagan surroundings, the ideal of a full life with devout devotion to God (pietas) in happiness and peace (securitas).
