Anonymous attributed to Romanus III (1028-1034) AE Follis (Bronze, 11.89g, 30mm)
Obv: + EMMA NOVHΛ / IC - XC, Bust of Christ facing, holding book of Gospels and wearing nimbus cruciger; sqaare in each arm of cross; four pellets around one pellet in centre on book of Gospels.
Rev: IS - XC / bASILE / bASILE, Legend in three lines divided by cross set on three steps.
