2021 - shows a female emu in the company of her child, standing at a watering hole against the backdrop of the Australian wilderness. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "Australian Emu" and the date of issue, weight and mintage. Designer Monique Reeves.

2022 - shows a female emu in the company of a small emu, resting in the middle of the Australian wilderness. The whole is surrounded by the inscription "Australian Emu" and the date of issue, weight and mintage. Designer Neil Hollis.
