Posthumously, the Senate granted him the title of Germanicus, "conqueror of the Germans", and erected a triumphal arch in his honour in Rome,
It still exists today, although it is very damaged, We can imagine that this arch, on the Via Appia, was, when it was built, adorned with the decorations visible on the coin, with a superb equestrian statue as well as statues and military trophies celebrating the victories of the emperor's father over the troops of the Germanic tribes,

A titre posthume, il se voit décerné le titre de Germanicus, "vainqueur des germains" par le Sénat, qui fait ériger un arc de triomphe en son honneur à Rome, Il existe encore aujourd'hui, bien qu'il soit très endommagé, nous pouvons imaginer que cet arc, se trouvant sur la Via Appia, était, à sa construction, orné des décors visibles sur la monnaie, avec une superbe statue équestre ainsi que des statues et des trophées militaires célébrant les victoires du père de l'empereur sur les troupes des tribus germaniques,
On note un petit coup sur la joue du portrait, mais malgré l'usure de circulation, il reste un bel et rare exemplaire d'aureus, dont le revers est chargé d'histoire,
