The medal features an impressive battle scene; in the foreground of which the figure of the Grand Duke of Lithuania Vytautas stands out. At the top; along the edge of the medal; there is an inscription in capital letters FOR THE BATTLE OF ŽALGIRIS; and at the bottom; the jubilee date is 600 years.
