TWO ROMAN BRONZE FITTINGS
Circa 1st century, and 2nd-3rd century AD.
An early Roman part of a military belt (cingulum) for suspension of the sword (gladius) with a highly decorated disk/button, and a fragmented openwork fitting for a (military?) knife scabbard ('Thekenbeschlag').
