A ROMAN BRONZE ENAMELLED SEAL BOX WITH A PHALLUS
Circa 2nd century AD.
Leaf-shaped seal box with base and lid of equal form and size, joined at the back of the box by a central hinge. The front face of the lid is decorated with a separately riveted zoomorphic phallus; with minor remains of enamel. One lug of the hinge partly broken; lid loose.
