A FINE ROMAN BRONZE OIL LAMP WITH CRESCENT
Circa 1st-3rd century AD.
Bronze oil lamp with round body and extended spout upon a raised foot; a crescent at the rear above the loop handle. Complete with lid and remains of the chains for hanging.
L 84 mm, H 46 mm
Ex Austrian private collection, acquired in the 1980s-90s.
