MYSIA. Kyzikos. Circa 600-550 BC. Hemihekte or 1/12 Stater (Electrum, 8 mm, 1.33 g). Head of a tunny fish to right; above and below, small tunnies swimming to left. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Greenwell 166. Hurter & Liewald III 13.2. SNG France 173. Von Fritze I 28. A well-centered example and one of the first coins minted in Kyzikos. Very fine.
