Description

SPAIN. Turiasu. Late 2nd-early 1st century BC. Denarius (Silver, 19 mm, 3.56 g, 12 h). ka-tu-ś Bearded male head to right, wearing pearl necklace. Rev. turiasu Horseman with couched lance galloping to right. CNH 34. SNG BM Spain 958-968. Toned, sharply struck and in good silver. Obverse very slightly double-struck, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.

While large numbers of these coins have come on the market in Spain over the past few years, surprisingly enough, very few are as nice as this one.
