SICILY. Enna. Circa 258-200 BC. (Bronze, 20 mm, 11.40 g, 6 h). ENNA-IΩN Demeter standing facing, holding torch and Nike in her outstretched hands. Rev. Grape cluster and tendrils, all within laurel wreath with ties above. CNS (Henna) 6. HGC 2, 396 ( this coin ). SNG ANS 1336. Very scarce, and with an unusually archaic representation of Demeter. Very fine.
