Description
MYSIA. Lampsakos. Circa 390-330 BC. Diobol (Silver, 10 mm, 1.21 g, 12 h). Janiform female heads. Rev. [ΛΑ...] Head of Athena to right, wearing Corinthian helmet; all within incuse square. Cf. SNG Paris 1188-1191 (similar). Toned. Struck on a short flan, legends and symbol(?) obscured as a result, otherwise, about extremely fine.
