CALABRIA. Tarentum. Circa 281-270 BC. Nomos (Silver, 22 mm, 7.91 g, 5 h), Philiarchos, magistrate. ΦIΛI-APXOΣ Youthful nude jockey riding horse walking to right; above, ΣΑ. Rev. TΑΡΑΣ /AΓA Phalanthos seated astride dolphin to left, holding bunch of grapes. HN III 960. Vlasto 673-6. Well struck and clear; a lovely example. Good extremely fine.
