KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes II ‘the Great’, 95-56 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 15.5 mm, 3.47 g, 12 h), sixth series, Tigranokerta, c. 70-69. Diademed and draped bust of Tigranes II to right, wearing five-pointed tiara decorated with a star. Rev. BAΣIΛEΩΣ TIΓPANOY / ΔH-MO Tripod. ACV 112. CAA -. Kovacs 96. YTN 202. Green patina with earthen highlights. Reverse struck slightly off center, otherwise, very fine.
