ROMAN AND BYZANTINE COINS Heraclius, with Heraclius Constantine and Hera­clonas, 610-641. Solidus (Gold, 19mm, 4.39g 7), Con­stantinople, year I = 10 = 636/7. Heraclonas, wearing cap with cross above, and Heraclius and Heraclius, both wear­ing crowns with crosses, standing facing, all holding glo­bus crucigers in their right hands. Rev. VICTORIA AUGUB / CONOB Cross potent on base and three steps; to left, Heraclian monogram; to right, I. DOC 36b. MIB 42. SB 761. A splen­did well struck and well centered piece. Virtually as struck.
