D N THEODOSIVS P F AVG Pearl- diademed, helmeted and cuirassed bust of Theodo­sius II, three- quarters facing and turned slightly to the right, with a cross on his breast, holding a spear over his right shoulder and, over his left, a shield ornamented with the emperor on horseback riding down an enemy. Rev. CONCORDIA AVGGG / COMOB Constantinopolis en­throned facing, her head turned right, placing her right foot on a prow and holding a scepter and Victory on globe. Depeyrot 45/3. LRC 298. RIC 41. A clear and lustrous ex­ample. Minor nick on Theodosius’ forehead, otherwise , virtually as struck.
