CENTRAL EUROPE, Vindelici. Early 1st century BC. Stater (Billon, 19 mm, 5.89 g), "Regenbogenschüsselchen" type. Triskeles within a wreath-like torc with an annulet at each end. Rev. Pyramid of eight annulets: five, on the bottom, each enclosing a pellet, and three forming the top two rows, each enclosing a smaller annulet; all within a wavy torc. Allen & Nash 160. Castelin 1097. De la Tour 9439-41. Kellner type IXB. Toned. Flan flaw on obverse, otherwise, very fine.
