MEROVINGIANS. Uncertain mint. Circa 700-750. Denier (Silver, 12 mm, 1.08 g, 6 h). BALDOHISILCS(?) Diademed bust to right. Rev. Cross on arch or deformed monogram; to left and right, A/-/●; below, E ( retrograde ). Apparently unpublished in the standard references, but published by P. Schiesser (2022), Les trouvailles de deniers mérovingiens (vers 670- vers 750) dans l’Aube, p. 129-131, 165 ( this coin ), and cf. BnF MER-3037 for a similar reverse. Extremely rare, and possibly unique. Some roughness, otherwise, nearly extremely fine.
