SICILY. Gela. Circa 465-450 BC. Litra (Silver, 12 mm, 0.79 g, 8 h). Horse walking right; above, wreath. Rev. ΓΕΛΑΣ Forepart of Acheloos as a man-headed bull to right. Jenkins, Gela 254 ( this coin depicted ). With a wonderful old cabinet toning. Carefully centered on a broad flan. Good very fine.
