LIBERTAS PACIS SOBOLES PRVDENTIÆ ALVMINA (= Liberty, daughter of Peace, nourished by Prudence ) Hollandia seated facing, holding lance topped with cap of liberty, between Pax and Prudentia; at her feet, looking somewhat cross, Lion of the Netherlands; to left, cornucopiae with jewels and coins; to right, shield bearing the arms of Amserdam.
