ITALY. Sicilia (Regno). William II, "the Good", 1166-1189. Tari (Gold, 14,5 mm, 1.68 g), Messina or Palermo. Inner Arabic legend al-malik Ghuliyam al-thani al-musta'izz around cross composed of five pellets within circular linear border. Rev. IC - XC / IN - KA ( sic ) Cross potent on shaft with uncertain outer Arabic legend. Cf. MEC 14, 392-3 ( different central design on the obverse ). Spahr 102. Travaini, Monetazione, 356. Very fine.
