ARAB-SASANIAN. Anonymous, circa 690s-710s. Pasha (Bronze, 19 mm, 0.57 g, 3 h), Ardashir Khurra, no date. Standard Khusro II obverse, probably with bism Allah in the second quarter (but here off the flan). Rev. Facing nimbate winged angel; Pahlavi APAT to left; mint name in Pahlavi written out in full to right, followed by GDH in Pahlavi. Album A45. Gyselen 102. Extremely rare and boldly struck. Minor encrustation and edge split, otherwise, very fine.
