CRUSADERS. Antioch. Tancred, regent, 1101-1112. Follis (Bronze, 22 mm, 3.45 g, 10 h), Second type. [+KE BO TO TANKRE] or similar Bearded bust of Tancred facing, wearing turban and chain mail, and holding sword in his right hand. Rev. IC - XC / NI - KA in angles of cross with pellets on the end of each arm. CCS 4a. Metcalf, Crusades 63-70. Brown patina with earthen highlights. Overstruck on a type 1 follis of Tancred, otherwise, very fine.
