KINGS OF ARMENIA. Tigranes V, the Cappadocian, AD 6-12. Chalkous (Bronze, 14 mm, 1.79 g, 12 h), Artagigarta (?). Diademed, draped, and bearded bust of Tigranes to right, wearing tiara decorated with three eagles. Rev. ΒΑΣΙΛΕΩΣ ΤΙΓΡΑΝΟΥ ΜΕΓΑΛΟΥ Eagle standing to left. ACV 166. CAA 156. Kovacs 185. Relatively sharp, with dark green glossy surfaces; a pleasant example. Struck on a tight flan with the obverse slightly off-center, otherwise, good very fine.
