★ Unique as Hemitetartemorion ★
CARIA. Uncertain mint. Circa 480-450 BC. Hemitetartemorion (Silver, 6 mm, 0.07 g, 11 h). Confronted foreparts of two bull, their horns locked. Rev. Forepart of bull to left within incuse square. cf. SNG Kayhan 968-70 ( tetartemorion ). cf. SNG Keckman 912 ( tetartemorion ). Extremely rare or even unique in this denomination, and exceptionally well struck for its size and weight. Good very fine.
