Description
PHOKIS, Federal Coinage. Circa 478-460 BC. Obol (Silver, 9.5 mm, 0.90 g, 4 h). Φ-O Head of a bull facing. Rev. Forepart of a boar running to right; all within incuse square. BCD Lokris - Phokis 228.3-228.5. Williams - ( but probably dies O116/R94 ). Toned and well struck. Good very fine.
