Description
CILICIA. Tarsos . Time of Pharnabazos and Datames, Circa 384-361/0 BC. Obol (Silver, 7.5 mm, 0.64 g, 9 h). Facing head of a local water Nymph, turned slightly to left. Rev. Helmeted head of a warrior (Ares?) to left. SNG France 303. SNG Levante 93. Well-centered and nicely toned. Some striking flatness , otherwise, very fine.
