IONIA. Achaemenid Period . Spithridates, satrap of Lydia and Ionia, circa 334 BC. Chalkous (Bronze, 9 mm, 1.18 g, 5 h). Head of Spithridates to right, wearing tiara. Rev. ΣΠ-I Forepart of horse right, monogram to the upper left field. SNG Aulock 1823. SNG Copenhagen 1538. Winzer 19.4. Dark green patina and fine portrait. Good very fine.
