Marcus Aurelius, 161-180. Denarius (Silver, 17 mm, 3.08 g, 5 h), Rome, 171. M ΛNTONINVS ΛVG TR P XXV Laureate head of Marcus Aurelius to right. Rev. VOTΛ SVSCEP DECENN II / COS III Marcus Aurelius, veiled and togate, standing left, holding patera over lighted altar and volumen; bull at his feet to left. Cohen 1031. RIC 248. Extremely sharp and lightly toned Denarius with perfect details. Virtually as struck.
