MACEDON. Stobi . Caracalla, 198-217. (Bronze, 25 mm, 11.41 g, 12 h). IM C M AV ANTONINVS Laureate and cuirassed bust of Caracalla to left. Rev. MVNIC STOBENS Hades in galloping quadriga right, carrying off struggling Persephone; below to right, grape bunch on vine. AMNG III -. SNG ANS -. Vardanov -. Extremely rare example, apparently unpublished but the one in CNG elAuction 320, 284. Good very fine.
