AKARNANIA. Thyrrheion . Circa 300-250 BC. (Bronze, 17 mm, 3.73 g, 2 h). Helmeted head of Athena to right, wearing crested Attic helmet. Rev. ΘYPPEIΩΝ Owl standing left with torch to left. BCD Akarnania 378.1. SNG Copenhagen 414. Fine dark brown patina with some green highlights. Some rough spots on the reverse , otherwise, good very fine.
