KINGS OF MACEDON. Philip II, 359-336 BC. Quarter Stater (Gold, 11 mm, 2.15 g, 11 h), Pella mint, circa 340/336-328 BC. Head of youthful Herakles in lion's skin headdress to right. Rev. ΦΙΛΙΠΠΟΥ Bow and club, kantharos above. Le Rider 67 var. (D54/R35). SNG ANS 221–3 . Some scratches on the reverse , otherwise, very fine.
