★ Rare symbol for the series ★
MACEDON. Tragilos . Circa 400 BC. (Bronze, 13 mm, 4.01 g, 4 h). Head of Hermes to right, wearing petasos. Rev. ΤΡΑΙΛΙΟΝ Rose; to right, grain ear. HGC 3.1. 747. SNG ANS - cf. 907-12 (for type). Very rare symbol for the series. Attractive thick green patina. Nearly very fine.
