MACEDON. Neapolis . Circa 500-480 BC. Stater (Silver, 18 mm, 9.51 g). Gorgoneion facing with extended tongue. Rev. Quadripartite incuse square. Dewing 1064. SNG ANS 406-418. Svoronos pl. 9, 33. Rare, with a powerful head of Gorgon. Irregular flan , otherwise, nearly very fine.
